I met Sitaram through TBF, I believe a few months back. We've had some interesting exchanges regarding religion and Steinbeck respectively. Glad to receive the invitation to come here, it's very refreshing to discuss things at a depth without sarcastic comments from others who don't understand. :roll: Anyways, I've been married for six years to a wonderful woman who is a counselor at a youth treatment facility. I have two boys who are 2 and 1 respectively and who take up a large portion of my time(that's a good thing) I'm a history teacher at a high school with a K-12 population of 415. I teach 7th Social Studies(basically a world history course) freshman World Geography, as well as senior Sociology, Economics, and Government. I love what I do but I know that I won't teach forever-we'll see what the future has in store. Hobbies-I love reading, admiring nature, as well as cigars. If you are of age and like smoking, PM me and I'll send you a few of my favs. In terms of literature--I like a bit of everything. I'm a big Steinbeck, Upton Sinclair, and Mark Twain fan. When I'm not reading the "muckrakers," I do read some Chekhov, Sufi poetry, as well as some esoteric writings that interest me from time to time. Glad to be here and this forum is going to be GREAT, I just feel it in my bones.
