If you are curious about the various forum styles available to choose
from, I have just created an additional free forum
styles.myfreeforum.org. If you go there, then each possible style has
a forum of its own. So, you log in with the user name of that style, and
a password of testdrive

I purchased my forum, for 1 yr 60bps $100usd
It is free IF you want advertisements.... but what I get for $100 is no
adv. and I am allowed to have privated hidden forums, which become
visible when a user joins a group...

AND, the admin likes me... so he is giving me a backup of the forum
every 3 months.... which would normally cost more

I can put all my writings there... and also have a backup
and I have ICQ, to invite people... i can use ICQ search engine, like i
did today, after work...for 10 minutes, and I found 30 people on line in
Australia who list PHILOSOPHY in their profile

To be honest.. I would rather have a forum with only 3 decent
members.. than all the sick twisted mess at TBF or
online-literature.com/forums (who have now banned me)

I just pick an english speaking country :
Canada, Australia, New Zealand...
or, i can specify ENGLISH in the profile, and pick any country
Surely, there must be a few dozen people on the planet who will like
the kind of things I write... or even if they dont care for me, they might
like to come, join and then create their own forum.

Here is MY position regarding posting at forums, in a nutshell: I do not
address individuals, I address IDEAS

IF you make that your rule, you can never go wrong, and often you
may go extraordinarily right

Anything I can bring back for you from my travels? i'm going to India
more members for my forum... ha ha

actually, think about this... print up some calling cards.. that say literarydiscussions.myfreeforum.org Literature, Philosophy, Religion, Politics

and if you meet someone who seems likely, just pass them a card with the link

throw in Essays, Dialogues, Poetry, Short Stories

if we all join forces, we can build a very different kind of forum

i'll try and email you a sample of the cards.
