If any member would care to visit their profile, and change their attribute to invisible, and then notify me, then I will be able to determine if Admin is truly all seeing. Did you ever wonder about that?
Some people feel that Admin can examine and read PM (personal messages). PHPBB stated somewhere that this is not so.
I have not come across any statements regarding PM privace in VBulliten, but I imagine that it is honored. Were it not, then there would be ethical Admins somewhere who would notice that they have the ability to spy and pry, and they would complain to someone, and the word would get out.
Words do have their way of "getting out."

When HM make himself invisible, in his profile, I, as Admin, could see him on line, but with his name in italics.
Suddeny, he told me, in MSN chat, that he couldnt see all the forum, but it turned out that he was logged out suddenly, and a guest, and not the result of being invisible.
Whenever you log it, it is probably a good idea to check the little box which says "keep me logged in".
