I have a feeling I might not have the right terminology for the practice of Mudras... Question
Whe some people meditate, they hold their hands in different possitions, for example, I usually hold the tip of my thumbs connected to my index fingers resting palm up on my legs. I know also of another possition which I have used, which is holding one hand on top of the other both thumbs touching, and slightly away from below the navel like 2 or three inches, which is supposed to be the center in the body from which chi flows.

I am curious to know about the particular meanning of each of these two mudras, and how do they benefit a meditator.
Thanks in advance for the response(s)...

Ok, so I embarked on research to find out about the different hand and finger positions and this is th efirst link that looked like the place to learn about the different types of "Mudras":

"Christ in my heart, Buddha in my mind."

A curious signature.

Interesting.
