Everything has become vicarious for us, in our media driven culture

To be manly, we are spectators of manly sports, and we roar and cheer, as spectators, but we do not participate

people often mistake dispute, arguement, one-upsmanship, for dialogue and dialectical inquiry

this is the fault of our multiple choice S.A.T. mentality of mass produced higher education

when everyone is always trying to "win" then everyone loses out
