Lost Poem
|
Unmapped DistancesUnmapped Distances
I charted my way
Through a galaxy of wild dreams
I came through the stars
From unmapped distances.
My love
I gave you without question
I abandoned on your doorstep
My heart beating its wings.
Inconsequentional the agonies
And all the irrational fretting
I traveled without a plan
A journey that led through the unseen,
I roam about a little distant
My feet don’t touch the floor
You freed me from myself
Now I am in no one’s control.
You breathed in a fragrance
And named it tenderness
A song that moved you
I captured your essence.
