Eternity

Will making this journey count?
When distances grow lesser
And years fewer
Can the memory remain forever?

Elapsed moments of ruptured hopes
Because fingers counted those stars
Earth’s sky that night had assembled
But no more – the sun has ascended,

I salute this creator:
The womb where dawns all creation
Me, You and Plant,
Destiny prophesized: premeditated,

Would eternity suffice?
For hungry souls like yours and mine
I doubt this feigned suspicion
I whose will the grass applauded.
