shadesofblack_03 (12/16/2005 12:03:17 AM): Hello. Long time. I was wondering if you've written anything on Tantra and the importance of the guru-disciple relationship. I read in a book that initiation is imperative on the spiritual path...and, only by a highly qualified teacher who in most cases should be enlightened. It's so hard to find such gurus in today's world. What are your thoughts on this? They say that part of the teacher's spiritual energy will be transferred to the student at the time of initiation... and, this will help him propel forward on the path and give him the necessary tools... and, also says it is dangers to tread this path without a teacher. Well, this is according to the tantra traditions of India including the Buddhist Tantra tradions of India and Tibet. Thank you...metta and peace.
