And the stars,
Oh the stars,
Are they not all alone?
Yes they are? They never touch,
Not like two souls who dashed and craved together,
And left because there was too much,
And that was too much.
So why not
When eyes look at the stars,
As they do when they look at each other
Do they not see that the lights touch not?
We look and think “ah the nights jewels!”
But alas do they not cry, every night?
And bleed their tears on the earth to see?
To each other they do not touch,
To sit alone is almost too much…
And so two souls,
Like two stars,
Are not made to be together?
But to shine alone?
Do the stars glimmer,
More when they cross?
No, the stars are all alone,
And so are we.

Lovely write, romantic and wistful...
'No, the stars are all alone,
And so are we.'
