The few of you who have joined will surely notice today, Sunday, 9/18/05 that I have added a hundred or so posts.

Perhaps I should share with you my thoughts.

I have been posting for 4 years at my own yahoo egroup. There are 1500 posts (essays dialogues etc) similar to what you see here today.

Last year, someone in Asia was kind enough to manually capture all of them on a CD, and mail it to me.

What I seek is a way to record my writings, with some ease of backup, and some exposure to readership on the net, as well as perhaps one or two trusted people (such as Jetaime or Krishna) to co-admin, and keep my writings alive after my death.

This phpbb forum seems to be a good way to accomplish that.

I realize that some of you feel concern for "clutter", and a desire to streamline and consolidate.

Such matters are complicated by the fact that this is a FREE board, and the host needs lots of unregistered public traffic just to generate enough advertizing revenue to break even and keep going (or CONTRIBUTIONS... WHICH I shall shortly be making via Pay Pal)...

One solution is for one or more of you to learn the ropes and create your own free forum, which you can design to suite your needs. Just remember to keep as MANY FORUMS AS POSSIBLE visible to and readable by unregistered guests, which is part of the TOS and Agreement.

I am investigating my options to purchase hosting from myfreeforum.org so that I may post all my writings, and have an easy way to do backups and safeguard my investment.

I would also like to see as many of you as possible learn to create and administer your own forums. I see this as a very liberating form of empowerment and freedom of speech and expression.
