try out everthing that moderators can do.... you may log out and join under a different name, just to have some member to experiment on... then you can log in as that member, and see how it is not to be a moderator... and then log back in as Nighthawk to do some moderator type things

So, now you may discuss religion and politics, and other taboo topics, to your hearts content.

I am not yet certain whether moderators have the power to ban. Good question.

We shall learn how all this works as time goes by.

If anyone wants to experiment with the ban feature, they can log into the site with a name like testban (or Yuban if you like coffee). Then log in as yourself and see if you can ban Yuban.

Let me know if such an experiment works

If you do have the ability as moderator to create a sticky thread, then, when you create a new thread, at the bottom will be an option to click on to make it sticky, and another option to make it a announcement. Experiment and let me know. The only way I can experiment is to log out as admin, and to log in as one of my other names, that is only mod status, but that is inconvenient for me right now

It's simple! Pick any name you like. It does not HAVE to be your registered name. You do not need to enter an email address, but if you DO, then people can click on your name in the message and email you. IF you enter a URL, then, when they click on your name, they will be taken to that URL. Then, simple type your message and click GO. To check for replies, click on REFRESH.
