Psychoanalysis is on the resurgence as psychoanalytic oriented university departments and institutes are bursting at the seems; cognitive psychology enjoys widespread popularity in the field of counseling and only in education(at the elementary level mind you) has behavioristic psychology have a foothold. Some associate behaviorism with control and the lack of respect for an individual's will. Add to the mix the rise of humanist and now...integral psychology-where will behaviorism end up? Does it have a role in teh future? :? :?
