and roll your own
Gem is making up calling cards, advertising this forum.
She is travelling to India, and she will hand them out.
Now if everyone did that, just think what might happen.
Besides, there are 400 posts here with more worthwhile reading than you can find a lot of other shallow brainless forums which we shall leave nameless.
So, pretend you are in exile. Write a great novella. Then, post it here.
Besides, the forum is less than 2 weeks old. You expect 50,000 members to join?
And I am on ICQ now, every day, using its search engine, inviting people.
Sometimes, you have to make things happen. Even if it takes months or years. And you can't give up. You have to try evey day. And you have to believe in yourself. Believe in your message. Believe that the world will be a different, better place, because you were in it.
Ask not what your forum can do for you. Ask what you can do for your forum. |

Whenever I see someone reading a book, who looks "intellectual", then I offer them a card. And who knows, even if they dont like THIS forum of mine, they may really enjoy getting their OWN free forum, for whatever their interest is, a hobby or craft, spiritual, their small town organization or guild, who knows.
We should learn to TRY in life, BECAUSE, the worst thing that can ever happen, is that it wont work. But if you never try anything, then your failure is guaranteed. And there are some "sure things" that should be avoided (like the failure of never trying.).
