Dear Friends,
Tribal Folklore of India is a unit of literarydiscussions hosted by Sitaram.
To day I joined in this forum and Sitaram gave me the opportunity to be the moderator of Tribal Folklore of India.
This is a great support to me from Sitaram. I am forstof thankful to Sitaram.
The purpose of opening this form is to discover the rich lterary tradition of Indian folklore in general and indian tribal folklore in particular.
The objective of this form is to understand the oral and written literary tradition of India and compare it with the oral literary tradition of rest of the world. For istance cultural and religious customs of many Indian American natives have striking resemblance .Similarly African and Indian folklore have also many commonalities.
But these discourse has not yet started. Wehope to initiate the dialogue on tribal folklore of India and to rediscover the world folklore.
