Dr Pratibha Ray is a women fiction writer in India. She has written many fictions and shortstories. She is an aclaimed writerin Indian literature. One of her best novel is Adibhumi- Primal Land, on Bonda tribe of Orissa, India.
This book was released on 1993.And now in 2004, some tribal people have resented against the novel, objeting the sex relation with the father lolaw and daughter-in-law among the Bonda community.
The reason is in Bonda Society, a matured girl of 18-20 is married to a tender boy of 10-12 years. Their conjugal life is therefore mismatched. Taking the opportunity the father in law have sex relation with his son's wife. This particular event is narrated as one of the story inthe novel.
This has been challanged by some other tribes,. They have alleged DrPratibha Ray the writer of Adibhumi that the writerhs tried to assasinate the mrals of acommnity. The people who alleged this are not Bonda. They are other tribes. They did not understand that when in anthropology , the sex life and sex behaviour of many tribes are described vvidly to maintain the truth, why Dr Ray a creative writer is criticized?
Here a question arises among us.
What is the best way to write a fiction with fact?
If the controversial topics of a tribe is not narrated , then how the writer is free to maintain her purity of cultural representation.
hether the writer s in chain while writing a fiction on any ethinc group or she can put her own imagination with the facts?
If the cultural tradition is truely maintained by the writer, would this be a point to drag the writer to invalid argument?
These are some fundamental questions to the writers who write on ethnic fiction.

Dear friend..
I really appreciate your efforts regarding the Indian folk and we are doing really by introducing your culture and tradition among west and rest of Asia . India has very rich culture and world has borrowed much form us.(from India i mean United India of before partition).Same glimpses of this culture can be found in folk area of Pakistan.
If west has Romeo and Juliet , Arab has Lalia Majnoon , we have Sony mahewal. If America proud of Benjuman Martin, we proud of Soldiers of 1857 mutiny war, If west has Walloc , as a brave heart we have Bagat Singh. If China has Mao, America has Geroge Washington, and England has Queen Victoria, We have Gandhi, and Quaid Azam. What i am trying to say that we have every thing but still why we feel we have nothing.
It is the cry of the day to blend West and East . We should not only mix indian and pakistani, which are of same offshoot, culture like rainbow but also need to introduce our own tradition to the world and tell the rest of the world that India is no more than the country of elephant but a country where information technology has boosted new development . God is always with those who are stronger .Pakistan, a nation which is based on the true and dynamic idelogyof islam has softened his corner to indian. Now let see how our neighbour respense us. Hinduism . If u have not THAT BOOK ,E.M Forster , pLEASE READ A PASSANGE TO INDIA.
Thanks
if there is any thing objectional and not taste good iam sorry for that in advance.

Dear friend,You have won the heart and mind through your braodness.I see khan AbdlGafur Khan- Frontiier gandhi with in you.
EEvery word you have uttered in your reply and in earlier religion article reminded me of a prophetic words.YOu have a great heart and mind. I am a Hindu and a Brahmin - Priestclass, but I love Muslim culture and Zudaism
Whe I see Taj Mahal or Humayun Tomb in Delhi or jama maszid in Delhi, I enjoy itequally like muslim for I love the great personality of history. Each and every character, mayhe be a plunderer or a king like Akbar, I have really thought how human race has created history around the world.
Wish you tolsten fromyou soon
