1.)The Buddha left his family-I can never respect such an action. Occults love this kind of thing as family can counteract whacked-in-the-head ideas.
2.)India, which is predominantly Hindu, has the caste system. Any type of cultural oppression of groups indicates "not being with it" in my scheme of things.
3.)Religious taboos and attitudes regarding homosexuals & lesbians. First century Paul is not as authoritative on this as psychologists and scientists are now. A wandering illiterate man will not be the source of my judgment on any cultural issue.
4.)Violence between religious groups-name any of them and chances are, they have done their own share of oppressing.
5.)Unquestionable obedience to church figures unquestionably corrupts.
6.)From Neanderthal times to the present-mankind has spun stories to make himself feel secure.
7.)Sin is cool. 8)
